American Youth Soccer Organization’s Coach Education Program Achieves Second Re-Accreditation through NCACE

 

The American Youth Soccer Organization’s (AYSO) Coach Education Program was recently re-accredited by the National Committee for Accreditation of Coaching Education (NCACE).  AYSO’s accreditation is valid through 2024. AYSO is one of only 25, and the only youth soccer program, NCACE accredited programs in the United States, and the first coach education program to receive a second re-accreditation representing its commitment to quality coach education. 

Through the accreditation process, the American Youth Soccer Organization has demonstrated itself as a leader in the United States in the preparation of youth soccer coaching curriculum.  The NCACE accreditation process ensures that the AYSO's Coach Education Program adheres to the characteristics of excellence as prescribed by the National Standards for Sport Coaches.  It is clear that AYSO is committed to providing youth soccer coaches with quality coaching practices based on the latest research and practices in the field.  NCACE thanks AYSO for its continued commitment to excellence in coach education, ultimately ensuring a positive, safe and rewarding sport experience for our nation’s youth soccer athletes.
